GIFTOPIA - DELIVERY TERMS / POLICY

GENERAL

  • Delivery is not available on Sundays or Public Holidays, however if possible Giftopia may be able to deliver on these days on a case by case basis. Please contact Giftopia for more details.
  • Deliveries to remote or difficult delivery areas may not be same-day guaranteed.
  • Saturday international deliveries may not be guaranteed.
  • Please supply correct delivery details and information, as if we are required to redeliver the gift, a redelivery fee may be charged.
  • We generally do not contact the recipient prior to delivery unless requested. If you wish to have the recipient contacted prior to delivery, please make a note of this request when placing your order.
  • We do not deliver to PO Boxes.
  • Please allow more time for regional deliveries.
  • Delivery to difficult and remote areas may incur extra delivery, above that already allowed in the flower value. The payment of extra delivery is the responsibility of the customer and orders can not be delivered without such payment.
  • Please contact Giftopia for pricing and information on bulk deliveries.

FLOWER DELIVERIES

  • Same day flower deliveries from Monday to Saturday, is guaranteed throughout Australia on orders placed before the below times in the recipient's time zone. Same day delivery can be available on orders placed after these times, but it is not guaranteed. Deliveries to remote or difficult delivery areas may not be same-day guaranteed.

    Monday to Friday – 2pm for same day delivery

    Saturday – 11am for same day delivery

  • Same day flower deliveries from Monday to Friday, is available – but not guaranteed throughout New Zealand, United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland and the rest of the world, on orders placed before the below times in the recipient's time zone. Same day delivery can be available on orders placed after these times, but it is not guaranteed.

    Monday to Friday – 12pm for same day (if possible) / next day delivery

HAMPER AND GIFT BASKET DELIVERIES

  • All gift baskets illustrated on the Giftopia website are available for same day delivery to Sydney Metro or next business day delivery to Brisbane and Melbourne. Orders must be placed with Giftopia before……

    Sydney Metro – 12pm for same day delivery if possible, otherwise it will be next day delivery Monday to Saturday

    Brisbane and Melbourne Metro - 12pm for next business day delivery Monday to Friday

  • Deliveries to Canberra and Regional New South Wales may take up 2 - 3 business days.
  • Deliveries to remote or difficult delivery areas may not be same-day guaranteed.
  • Orders received over the weekend will be dispatched the following Monday.
  • Deliveries are NOT made on Sundays or public holidays, however if possible Giftopia may be able to deliver on these days on a case by case basis. Please contact Giftopia for more details.

NON DELIVERIES

Giftopia will do our absolute best to deliver your order, but we do not guarantee the delivery of any product if one of the following occurs

  • Recipient refuses to accept delivery of the gift
  • Address provided is incorrect
  • We are instructed to leave the order in a safe place if no one is home (eg: porch, balcony, front door) and the unfortunate event of theft or damage occurs.

If one of these instances occurs, we may judge that the delivery has been made.

Non delivery complaints must be received within 14 days of the delivery date. Complaints received after this time frame will be considered on an individual basis.

RECIPIENT "NOT AT HOME"

Giftopia is not responsible for deliveries if the recipient is not at the location at the time of delivery. If you are the customer, you must make sure that the recipient will be at the location on the date given on the order form for delivery.

If there is a contact phone number on the order form, we may contact the recipient to check if they are at the location before we attempt to deliver the gift. If there is no phone number provided on the order form, Giftopia will attempt to deliver the gift on the specified delivery date and leave the order in a safe place on the premises. If we feel that the location is not secure enough to leave the order in a safe place, we may need to re-deliver. If Giftopia is required to re-deliver the gift, a re-delivery charge may apply.

TIMED AND DIFFICULT DELIVERIES

Due to the difficult nature of delivering for the following events/places, Giftopia cannot guarantee delivery. While we will try our best to make sure that your gift is received at the event/place, we do advise you to include a secondary address for delivery. The recipient of the gift must be available at this address after the end of the event.

Although Giftopia offers customers the option to nominate a preferred time, we suggest you restrict your requests to AM or PM delivery or ASAP if that is important to you. Such deliveries can only be made during local business hours.

Also, it is usually possible though not guaranteed to deliver on a Saturday up to noon. It is not usually possible to deliver on Saturday afternoon or Sunday or on national public holidays.

If the flowers are for a timed event like a funeral, Giftopia will do our best to assist. However, we strongly recommend that you give an alternative address so the flowers can be delivered there if we are unable to make the timed event due to circumstances out of our control. Delivery to difficult and remote areas may incur extra delivery, above that already allowed in the flower value. The payment of extra delivery is the responsibility of the customer and orders can not be delivered without such payment.
