The following sets out why Giftopia collects information, the type of information we collect, and how it is used. The privacy policy is a very important part of the Terms & conditions of using Giftopia’s internet site, and by agreeing to those terms and conditions you are agreeing with the Privacy Policy.

Why does Giftopia collect information about our shoppers?
Giftopia gathers personal information to constantly improve our service and provide the best possible shopping experience for our customers. We also gather this information to inform you & your recipients of special offers and discounts, newsletters and to send reminders of special occasions.

What information does Giftopia collect?
Giftopia collects relevant personal information about our customers and their recipients, to process and deliver orders. The personal information we collect about our customers includes:

• Where the customer hear about us

The information Petals collects about the recipients of orders includes:

• Name
• Address
• Phone number.

How does Giftopia use the information that is collected?
In Accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) Giftopia does not disclose, sell, trade or rent any personal information collected or stored by Giftopia to any third party without your permission. An exception to this is Giftopia is required by Law to disclose information required, where an unlawful activity is suspected; such as credit card fraud.

Special Offers, Discounts, Newsletters and Reminder Services:
Giftopia gathers personal information to constantly improve our service and provide the best possible shopping experience for our customers. We also gather this information to inform you & your recipients of special offers and discounts, newsletters and to send reminders of special occasions.
The reminder service stores your name, email address, and the details of your previous orders. You can cancel your reminder at any time simply by logging into the members area and deleting your reminder dates in your profile.

If you choose not to receive reminders or promotional material from Giftopia, you must select ‘no’ to the field which offers you to receive promotional material and Reminder Emails at the bottom of the order page. If you do not select ‘no’ at the time of ordering you may be sent promotional material from Giftopia. All Giftopia customers can at anytime remove themselves from our mailing list simply by emailing Unsubscribe as the subject and your name to admin@giftopiaonline.com.au.

Giftopia operates from its Office in Seven Hills New South Wales Australia and as such the Giftopia Florist & Gifts website are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia and under the International Treaties Australia is a signatory to.
